Why stay in a villa rather than a hotel?

When you have children or are an extended family, hotel accommodation in the Disney area can be very expensive and restrictive. Often rooms will only take 4 people and you will have little space or privacy. All your needs will have to be fulfilled living in a single room.

Our villa has all the space you could want and you will enjoy the peace, privacy and flexibility that only a home can provide. For the duration of your stay we want you to feel at home but at the same time experience the luxury that you would expect in any top resort.

Our Orlando villa is part of a beautiful resort community so you have the benefits of 5* leisure facilities as well as a coffee bar, shop and cyber café.

As an individual property owner we have set higher standards than you could expect from a tour operator.

It all adds up to a holiday that is exceptional value for money.

Where is the villa located?

Our Orlando villa is part of the beautiful Solana gated resort community, located on Highway 27 two miles north of the I4 junction. It is within 15 minutes of Walt Disney World.

How many people can stay in the villa?

The villa has 4 bedrooms each sleeping 2 people, plus a sleeper sofa, for a maximum total of 10 people, to comply with Florida State fire regulations.

The prices shown are for the villa complete, not per person so it does not matter if you do not fill the villa to its capacity. There are no under occupancy penalties.

Can two families share?

Our villa is perfectly suited to two families sharing as it has two suites and a further house bathroom. The living accommodation has two reception rooms plus a spacious kitchen. This, coupled with the extended deck and our Games Zone ensure that every member of the party can find their own private place to relax.

Are children welcome?

Our holiday villa and the rental programme came about through our love of children and a desire to create the perfect family vacation. Things have been designed so that children are welcomed and catered for and adults get some quality time too. As parents ourselves we understand that happy kids mean relaxed grown-ups.

There are no stairs in the villa and younger children have the use of our baby and toddler package free of charge. This includes travel cot, high chair and stroller. As a precaution the pool is fully screened off.

Young adults will enjoy the Games Zone as well as the T.V. and D.V.D. entertainment system.

The delights of Orlando are aimed at the family market and our villa is a wonderful family base from which to enjoy them.

How do we pay for the holiday?

We take sterling and dollar cheques. Wired or mailed payments can be sent directly to our bank accounts in Florida or the U.K. We also accept online banking transfers so you can transfer payment online from your UK bank account to ours.

You can pay by credit card through our Management Company in Orlando,using sterling or dollars. (This will be subject to a 4% surcharge to cover transaction costs.) We will contact you with payment methods as soon as you send the on-line booking form.

How do I make a reservation?

You can do it right here and now, online. Check the availability calendar. This is always kept up to date. If the times are available then fill out the online reservation form and we’ll be in touch. To secure your reservation we ask for a non-refundable deposit.

What happens when we arrive?

When your reservation is secured you will receive a welcome pack with all the details on how to reach the villa. You can go straight there from the airport because there are no keys to collect. Your pack will contain your unique door entry code which will open the front door so no need to worry about door keys.

We ask you to check into the villa no earlier than 3pm on the day of arrival and depart no later than 11am on the day of departure. This ensures that enough time is left between guests to clean and prepare the villa for the next arrivals.

Why should I leave a security deposit?

Your security deposit will be returned to you within 4 weeks of your return home, subject to confirmation with the management company that the villa and its contents are in the same condition as on your arrival. Any damage, breakages, excessive use of utilities or leaving the villa in a state that requires extra cleaning will be made good using your security deposit. There will also be an administrative charge. If we find evidence that there has been smoking at the villa, all security monies will be forfeited.

Who do we turn to if there is a problem?

We employ a local property management company to look after the day to day smooth running of the villa. They are friendly and helpful and if you have a problem they are on call anytime to help you out. Your problems will become their problems – that is what we pay them to do and they are fantastic. We are proud to entrust the care of our home to them.

We welcome feedback and encourage you to fill out the visitor’s book. We see you as our ‘critical friend’ and will use your feedback to improve our villa facilities.

Towels and toilet paper!

The villa is equipped with plenty of bathroom towels but we do ask that you bring your own towels for use around the pool or at the beach.

The cleaning team will leave a bar of soap and toilet paper in each bathroom on arrival. After that, bathroom supplies will be your responsibility. Please note that we do not provide dishwasher tablets or washing detergent although there may be some left over from previous guests.

Can we smoke at the villa?

We have a strict no smoking policy which also applies to the deck and pool area.

Any damage caused by guests smoking, including smoke damage, will be treated very seriously and claims made against your security deposit.

Can we bring pets?

Pets are not allowed with the exception of Guide Dogs.

Is the pool heated?

The pool is naturally warm in the summer months but you may wish to use the pool heater from October to April. This is an extra charge and bookable in advance.

Is there maid service?

The villa is professionally cleaned between guests and is equipped with a washer, drier, dishwasher and vacuum cleaner. We can arrange extra cleaning services for an additional fee.

Is there a games room?

We call our games room Goofy's Games Zone which has been located in our huge garage. Fully carpeted, it houses a pool table, foosball, electronic darts and other smaller games and toys. There is an X Box and games. We have a funky bar table and stools, together with leather gaming chairs to ensure you have a comfortable and relaxing time. We've even laid on disco lighting!

We also provide board games and DVDs for your entertainment.

New this year are our 3 bicycles which we are happy that you share.

How about toys and games?

The villa is full of toys and games for the whole family to enjoy. We have board games and books as well as the X Box and other games equipment in the Games Zone. We have big tubs of Action Figures like 'Action Man' and princess dolls and dressing up things. We have a special tub of toys for babies and of course a whole host of swimming pool toys and floats.

The children's rooms genuinely belong to our own real children so you will find lots of extra touches for your own children to enjoy, that you simply won't find in other Orlando rental villas.  We know that you will care for and respect these things and you will see the love and attention that has gone into providing these little extras that make Disney Wishes Villa stand out from the crowd.

How secure is the villa?

There are smoke alarms and a fire extinguisher fitted in accordance with Florida State law. We have also installed Carbon Monoxide detectors for additional safety. There is a safety screen across the deck to fence off the pool. We inform guests never to leave children unattended in the villa especially around the pool area. Children are not allowed to use the pool unless there is adult supervision. Use of the pool is at guests own risk and diving is strictly forbidden.

Plastic crockery is provided for outdoor dining.

How hot does Florida get?

In summer, Florida gets very hot and rather humid. The villa has an efficient air-conditioning system and ceiling fans for your comfort.

Of course, Florida is famous as an all-year round destination because of its warm weather. The Spring and Autumn months are particularly pleasant when the theme parks are less crowded.
